A Tribute to Stuart Goodband...

It is with regret that I report the very sad news that Stuart Goodband, our Under 12s Manager, passed away suddenly on Thursday 30th July 2009.
Stuart had coached and managed our current Under 12s squad since 2004 when the boys & girls were just six years old. He was a lovely man, well liked and respected by all who had the pleasure of meeting him and he will be sadly missed.
Our deepest sympathy and condolences go to Stuart's family and loved ones at this very difficult time.

I think that most just feel gob-smacked. He was certainly well liked and I'm sure the name Stuart Goodband will never be forgotten. Like all of you I am absolutely in a state of shock and disbelief. My condolences to all the family and friends and, although I did not know Stuart that well, he was always friendly and helpful.
