Training

Training sessions are every Saturday during term time from 09:15 – 11:00 on Desborough Recreation Ground ('The Rec') behind Mill End Combined School.  Please be sure to arrive in plenty of time for the 'warm up' at the beginning of each session, and ensure your child has had plenty of sleep and something to eat at least one hour beforehand.
Last season some of the players were turning up for training without adequate kit. Apart from ending up cold and wet, it means they don’t get full benefit from the session. Please make sure that your son has suitable football clothing (usually a replica kit), SHIN PADS (compulsory, and preferably with ankle protection), clean studded boots (no blades), additional warm 'waterproof' clothing, hat and gloves (especially when the weather conditions deteriorate). They will also need to bring a drink of water/juice (non-fizzy).

This season, if a player turns up inadequately dressed, they WILL NOT train that day!

Football Tournament Planner

I’m sure I’m not the only one pulling his hair out over who, when and where the boys are playing in the football tournaments this season. So I have written a simple spreadsheet to help make the task easier. It can be downloaded from spreadsheetzone.com
Let me know how you get on with it, or if you want anything added - Tony
